Upon purchasing one of our meticulously designed templates, you'll be provided with a PDF file. This approach is tailored to our templates' exclusive compatibility with Google Sheets—an innovative online platform. Diverging from the conventional software model, Google Sheets operates without the need for direct file downloads. Accessing & Opening Templates

I’VE OPENED THE FILE BUT THE LINK TO THE TEMPLATE DOES NOT WORK

If you click on the spreadsheet link in the PDF and don't see an option to make a copy, it could be for one of these reasons:

Google Account Needed:
You need a Google account to use the link because Google Sheets is part of Google's services. Make sure you're logged into a Google account before you click on the links. If you're not logged in, you might not be able to access the links or make a copy of the spreadsheet.

Check Your Internet:
Sometimes, if your internet isn't working well, the links might not load properly. Make sure you have a good internet connection.

If you've checked these things and still have trouble, please get in touch with us so we can help you out.

I CAN’T MAKE A COPY OF THE SPREADSHEET

If you click on the link in the PDF to access the spreadsheet and then hit "make a copy" but don't get directed to the spreadsheet, here's what might be happening:

Storage Space:
Your Google Drive might be full or almost full, which can stop you from making a copy. Here's how to check:

  • Log into your Google account and head over to Google Drive.
  • Take a look at how much storage you've got left.
  • If it looks like you're out of space or close to it, try deleting some things you no longer need.

Internet Connection:
A shaky internet connection can also cause trouble with loading the links. Make sure your internet connection is strong and stable.

If you've looked into these tips and still can't get it to work, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us. We're here to help make things right.

I CAN’T EDIT THE SPREADSHEET

To start editing your spreadsheet, you'll need to copy it to your Google Drive first. It's pretty easy to do:

  • Click the link in the PDF we sent you when you bought the spreadsheet. This opens the spreadsheet.
  • Look for the "File" menu at the top left corner of your screen and click on it.
  • From the menu that appears, choose "Make a copy."
  • You'll then get to pick a name for your copy and decide where in your Google Drive you want to save it.

Once you've saved it, you can edit and personalize your copy however you like.

I WANT TO USE MY SPREADSHEET ON A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT

If you've bought one of our spreadsheets and now want to use it with a different email, no problem at all! Our spreadsheets aren't locked to the email you used to buy them. You can open and edit them with any Google account, not just the one you first used. Here’s how you can access your spreadsheet with the Google Account you prefer now:

  1. Go to sheets.google.com in your web browser.
  2. Sign in with the Google Account you’d like to use.
  3. Open the PDF that came with your purchase and click the spreadsheet link inside.
  4. When the link opens, just click “make a copy.”
  5. That’s it! Your spreadsheet copy will now be linked to your current Google Account and you can edit it as you wish.

Easy, right? If you have any questions, we're here to help!

I WANT TO USE MY SPREADSHEET ON MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS

If you want to use your spreadsheet with more than one account, here’s a simple way to do it:

  1. Open your spreadsheet and look for the “Share” button at the top right corner. Give it a click.
  2. You'll see a box pop up. There’s a spot that says “Add people or groups” - that’s where you type in the email address of anyone you want to share your spreadsheet with.
  3. Hit the “Send” button after that.

An invite will go out to those email addresses, letting them get into the spreadsheet just like you planned. This makes it easy for different Google Accounts to work on the same spreadsheet.

CAN I USE MY SPREADSHEET OFFLINE?

Even without an internet connection, you can still use and edit your spreadsheet. For more details on how to do this, please check out this guide.

CAN I USE THE SPREADSHEET ON MY PHONE OR IPAD?

Absolutely! You can access and edit your spreadsheet right from your phone or iPad. For a smoother experience on mobile devices, we suggest getting the Google Sheets app. It's free and available for iOS and Android. This way, you can work on your spreadsheets comfortably, anytime, anywhere.

CAN I USE THE SPREADSHEET IN EXCEL OR GOODNOTES?

Some of our templates are made just for Google Sheets and won't work right in Excel or Goodnotes. That's because Google Sheets does things in its own special way that Excel or Goodnotes might not handle well. To make sure everything works perfectly and you get the best experience, it's a good idea to stick with Google Sheets when using our templates.

Using Google Sheets

HOW DO I SAVE MY SPREADSHEET?

Google Sheets saves your work automatically as you go along, so you don't have to worry about saving it yourself. Whether you're using it on a web browser or the mobile app, your changes are saved instantly. To access your spreadsheet later, just go to sheets.google.com. You'll see all your spreadsheets there, and you can open the one you want with ease.

I MADE A CHANGE ON MY SPREADSHEET AND NOW I AM GETTING AN ERROR

If you've accidentally messed up your spreadsheet formulas, causing errors or glitches, don't worry! Google Sheets has got your back with a simple solution to roll back to an earlier version, even if you've already closed your browser tab. Here's how:

  1. Open your spreadsheet in Google Sheets.
  2. Look for the "File" option at the top of the screen and give it a click.
  3. From the menu that pops up, choose "Version History," and then click on "See version history."
  4. You'll see a list of past versions of your spreadsheet, organized by when they were saved.
  5. Take a peek through these versions until you find one where everything was working smoothly.
  6. Once you've found the right version, click on it to take a closer look. If it's the one you want, you can restore it by hitting the "Restore this version" button.

With this handy feature, you can easily undo any accidental changes and get your spreadsheet back on track.
